Do I need a doctor's referral?
A referral or prescription from your doctor is helpful because it tells us exactly what needs to be checked, but you can contact us to book even if you don't have one.
If you have a referral slip or previous scan reports, please keep them ready for the visit.
How long does a home visit take?
Most home visits take around 30–45 minutes, including setting up the portable machine, the scan itself and printing your report. Some scans, such as Doppler studies, can take a little longer.
When do I get the report?
For home ultrasound, a printed report is prepared and handed to you at the end of the visit. If you would also like a digital copy, ask the team at the time of booking.
For online X-ray reports, the written report is sent to you on WhatsApp or email once it is ready.
What should I do before an abdominal scan?
For an abdomen ultrasound, it is usually best not to eat for about 6 hours before the scan. You may drink plain water. If you take regular medicines, continue them unless your doctor has told you otherwise.
For pelvic or KUB scans, a comfortably full bladder helps — drink 4–5 glasses of water about an hour before. We will confirm the exact preparation when you book.
Which areas do you cover for home visits?
All of Lahore. There is no extra travel charge within about 8 km of Samanabad — for example Gulberg, Model Town, Garden Town, Shadman and Allama Iqbal Town. For areas further away, such as Johar Town, DHA or Bahria Town, a travel charge is added, which we confirm when you book.
Is a home scan as reliable as a scan at a hospital?
Modern portable ultrasound machines are suitable for most routine scans, and every scan is performed and reported by a consultant radiologist. If a home scan is not suitable for what your doctor needs, we will tell you when you book.
What do I need to arrange at home?
A bed or couch where the patient can lie down comfortably, a power socket nearby, and reasonable privacy. Please also keep a small table or flat surface next to the bed for the ultrasound machine, and a chair and table where the doctor can sit to write the report.
Keep the patient's ID details, any doctor's referral and previous reports ready.
Can a family member stay with the patient during the scan?
Yes. A family member or attendant is welcome to stay with the patient during the scan.
How much does it cost?
Fees depend on the service — the type of scan for home visits (plus a travel charge if you are more than 8 km from Samanabad), or the number of X-rays for online reports. We always tell you the full fee before confirming.
Can I book at night or on weekends?
Yes. You can send a booking request 24/7 through the website or WhatsApp. Our team will call or message you to confirm a suitable time for the visit or session.
How does the online X-ray report work?
Upload clear photos of your X-ray film (or the image/PDF from the lab) on the Online X-ray Report page, along with the patient's age and the reason for the X-ray. The consultant radiologist reviews the images and sends you a written report on WhatsApp or email.
The report is based only on the images you send. If the images are not clear enough to report, we will tell you and ask for better ones.
How do I take a good photo of an X-ray film?
Hold the film against a bright, evenly lit window or a white computer screen. Switch off the flash, keep the phone straight and parallel to the film, and make sure the whole film fills the photo without glare or blur. Send one photo per film.
How do online consultations work?
Book a time through the website or WhatsApp. Once confirmed, we send you a Google Meet or Zoom link. Keep any reports or scans you want to discuss ready during the call.
An online consultation is for advice and discussing reports — it does not replace an in-person examination when one is needed.
Who can join the ultrasound training courses?
The courses are designed for doctors and sonographers. Each course lists who it is suitable for. Register your interest on the Training page and we will contact you with the fee, schedule and next batch dates.
Can I book an emergency (urgent) home visit?
Yes. If you need a scan urgently, choose "Emergency booking" on the booking form or call/WhatsApp us — we will try to reach you at short notice. A small extra charge applies, which we confirm when you book.
Emergency booking means an urgent diagnostic home visit, not emergency medical care. In a life-threatening emergency (severe pain, heavy bleeding, unconsciousness, difficulty breathing) call 1122 or go to the nearest hospital straight away.
Need an ultrasound without leaving home?
Book 24/7 by form, call or WhatsApp. Our team will confirm a time for a home visit anywhere in Lahore.
