Dr. Tauseef Qamar

Consultant Radiologist & Sonologist (Ultrasound Specialist) with more than 39 years of experience in radiology and ultrasound.
Biography
Dr. Tauseef Qamar is a Consultant Radiologist and Sonologist based in Lahore. He graduated in medicine (MBBS) from King Edward Medical College, Lahore, completed his Diploma in Medical Radiology & Diagnosis (DMRD) at The University of Lahore, and is a PhD Radiology scholar there.
He is currently Consultant Radiologist at Sehat Medical Complex, the teaching hospital of The University of Lahore, and at Chughtai Lab. In more than 39 years of practice he has also worked as Consultant Radiologist at Naz Hospital, Shadman (2006–2019), as Head of the Radiology Department at Gosha-e-Shifa Trust Hospital (2015–2022), as Senior Radiologist at Hussain Memorial Hospital, and as a visiting Colour Doppler and ultrasound specialist at several Lahore hospitals.
Teaching has always been central to his work. For the past three years he has been Visiting Assistant Professor at The Superior University, teaching on the Master in Diagnostic Ultrasound (MSDU) programme. Earlier he was Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Health Sciences, Lahore, taught at Hussain College of Medical Sciences, and served as Assistant Professor and Acting Head of Department at The University of Lahore. Since 2006 he has run annual ultrasound courses, conferences and workshops with the Pakistan Society of Family Physicians and the Ultrasound Society of Pakistan, where he is Vice President for Punjab.
Alongside teaching, he offers a home ultrasound service across Lahore so that patients who find travel difficult can be scanned at home, with a printed report handed over at the visit — as well as online X-ray reports and online consultations.
